2009 Minnesota Millionaire Raffle is now on sale!

Minnesota State Lottery players have until Dec. 31, or until all 500,000 Raffle tickets sell out, to have the chance to start 2010 with a $1 million win! The Raffle game has sold out every year it has been offered. Like in previous years, Raffle prizes include four $100,000 prizes, four $25,000 prizes and one hundred $500 prizes in addition to the two $1 million top prizes. This year, players will also have the chance to win one of 40 exciting bonus prizes. The bonus prizes include things like a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid, shopping sprees and trips to exotic locations like Hawaii and to some of our fabulous Minnesota resorts. Long drive was worth it

Dwayne Adams of Pipestone won a $102,497 Gopher 5 prize. The quick-pick ticket that he purchased was one of two tickets sold that matched all five numbers drawn to split the $204,994 jackpot. Adams said that he’s been playing Gopher 5 since it started, but never thought he’d actually win the jackpot. Adams found out that his ticket was a big winner after asking a sales associate at a Lottery retailer to scan it along with some others that he’d had for a while. He said that the sales associate was about as surprised as he was. “She hadn’t ever seen one like that before!”
