Starting Monday, July 18, Lotto America will draw three days a week … every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

The number of Lotto America® advance draws will be limited until Sunday, July 17, when tickets become available for the new three-days-a-week draw schedule. Starting Monday, July 18, you will be able to purchase up to 14 consecutive draws as usual.

Get in the game:

  • Get in the game for just $1.
  • For an additional $1 per play, you can purchase a multiplier option called the Lotto America All Star Bonus® that can multiply all prize levels except the Grand Prize by 2 to 5 (players can win $4 to $100,000).
  • It only takes one ticket to win. You can have fun and a chance to win without spending a lot.
  • Sales for the first Monday Lotto America drawing begin on Sunday, July 17.
  • Monday, July 18 is your first chance to win Lotto America on a Monday.
  • Lotto America will be drawn on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays after 10 p.m. CT.
  • Tickets must be purchased by 9 p.m. on drawing days.
  • Ask one of our 3,000 retailer partners around the state for a quick-pick Lotto America ticket for randomly selected numbers, or ask for a play slip and select five numbers from 1 to 52 and one Lotto America Star Ball number from 1 to 10.
  • There are nine ways to win, starting with $2 for matching just the Star Ball.
  • Match the first five numbers plus the Star Ball to win the jackpot.

Q&A

Will the additional drawing change the Lotto America game or prize structure?

No. Players will continue to choose five numbers from 1 to 52 and one Star Ball number from 1 to 10. The set cash prizes will remain the same. The Lotto America jackpot will continue to grow based on ticket sales and interest rates between drawings that have no jackpot winner.

We anticipate there will be more cash prizes and jackpots awarded each year due to a higher frequency of play.

Does the additional weekly drawing change my odds of winning?

No. Players will still have the same odds of winning a prize, because the two pools of numbers from which the winning numbers are drawn will remain the same (5 out of 52 + 1 out of 10).

Why is Lotto America adding a drawing on Monday nights?

Following the successful launch of Monday night Powerball drawings, the Lotto America Product Group decided to add a Monday night drawing.

The goal is to pick up the pace of the Lotto America game with faster-growing jackpots. The additional tickets sales from a third weekly drawing are expected to:

• Generate faster-growing jackpots each week

• Increase the number of cash prizes and jackpots awarded each year

• Increase funding to good causes in each jurisdiction where Lotto America is sold.
