The lottery also helps sponsor many U of M projects through the Environment & Natural Resources Trust Fund. 2022 University projects supported by lottery dollars include providing geologic atlases for improved management of ground and surface water ($3,092,000), pollinator education in science classrooms ($366,000), sustainable irrigation management ($1,139,000), and trout stream habitat restoration ($319,000).
