A Powerball ticket worth $100,000 Sold in Ham Lake
ROSEVILLE, Minn. (Jan. 14, 2025) — Minnesota snagged a big winner in last night’s Powerball drawing.
A Powerball® ticket purchased in Ham Lake for the Jan. 13 drawing matched four of the first five winning numbers plus the Powerball number to win $50,000 but because they added Power Play to their ticket for an extra $1, their prize was multiplied by 2 (the Power Play number drawn) to win $100,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at Network Liquors, located at 13648 Highway 65 N.E. in Ham Lake.
The winning Powerball numbers drawn on Jan. 13 were 4 – 6 –16 – 39 – 66 and the Powerball was 9.
Minnesota Lottery prizes above $50,000 must be claimed in person at Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville. Prizes $50,000 and below can be claimed by mail or at any regional office. In Minnesota, lottery players have one year to claim prizes. It is recommended that winners call ahead to check hours and to make an appointment.
The names and cities of lottery prize winners above $10,000 are private data. Unless the winner chooses to opt in to publicity, their name and city will not be released.
The Powerball jackpot is an estimated $303 million for Wednesday’s drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 9 p.m. on drawing days.
