A $731,159 Gopher 5 Jackpot Won in Blaine

ROSEVILLE, Minn. (Dec. 12, 2024) — A lucky lottery player in Blaine won a Gopher 5 jackpot worth $731,159 by matching all five winning numbers drawn on Dec. 11.

The winning ticket was purchased at Kwik Trip in Blaine, located at 11736 Ulysses Lane N.E. The business earns a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winning Gopher 5 numbers drawn on Wednesday, Dec. 11 are 10 – 22 – 37 – 38 – 39.

Minnesota Lottery prizes above $50,000 must be claimed in person at Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville. Prizes $50,000 and below can be claimed by mail or at any regional office. In Minnesota, lottery players have one year to claim prizes. It is recommended that winners call ahead to check hours and to make an appointment.

Information regarding Minnesota Lottery prize winners above $10,000 is private data. Unless a winner chooses to opt in to publicity, their name and city will not be released. 

Gopher 5 is a Minnesota-only lotto game. Each ticket costs $1 to play. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow until won. The overall odds to win a Gopher 5 jackpot are 1 in 1,533,939. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on drawing days.
